Debbie Nadolney l Portraits

These portraits include commissions, as well as paintings that are part of an ongoing series begun in 2009 to visually document the artists, writers, musicians, family and friends, whose presence has in some way enhanced and given dimension to our shared life experience.

Paintings are acrylic and medium on archival-quality board, and finished with a varnish that seals and protects against UV damage, fading, yellowing and humidity. Created on a floating box mount with a 1" deep edge, the paintings can be hung as-is without framing.

All that's needed to commission a portrait is a photograph or two of the subject you'd like painted – and, since a single snapshot may not say it all, I can borrow elements from multiple photos to create an image that better captures the personality and essence of the subject.

Support a good cause!! 15% of all pet portrait commissions are donated to local, non-profit, no-kill animal rescue and shelter organizations. Visit my Causes page.
